About Venue

Opened in April 2015, The Studios at Adagio School of Dance offer five high end studios, each fitted with Sprung Floors and Specialist Dance Vinyl flooring. Three of the studios have electric pianos and four of the studios are equipped with Sound Systems and are enhanced with a Virtual Sonos Music Network putting the control of your music direct to iPhone, iPad or Laptop. Situated in Essex in between Shenfield and Billericay the studios have ample parking and can also accommodate location filming vehicles.

The Flagship Studio at Adagio School of Dance, the Van Laast Studio is the perfect space for the arts! At 1666.32 sq ft of high end dance space, the Van Laast is fitted with sprung floors, dance vinyl flooring, full length mirrors, Harlequin fitted Barres, A baby grand electric piano and with a ceiling height of 7 metres (22.9ft) the is plenty of room for overhead partnering work! This studio is the perfect space for classes, rehearsals, workshops and more!

I joined the adult ballet class with no previous experience. It's a lovely studio, the price of classes is competitive, the teacher is very welcoming. The class is non judgemental and encouraging and it was fine to make mistakes and build my confidence. Far more interesting and challenging than sports and gym classes I've done elsewhere. I wish I'd started sooner! They do other styles of dance and cater to all ages.
