If no alternative dates and/or venues are available, Glasgow Life shall refund to the Hirer any money paid (including any Deposit) in respect of the Let. No compensation will be paid by Glasgow Life for any losses sustained by the Hirer in respect of any such cancellation. 27.3 Should the Venue be required for any special event, annual event or departmental activity then the Hirer will be advised, where possible, and offered an alternative Venue and/or date, where one is available. 27.4 In the event that Glasgow Life requires to cancel the Let due to the action or inaction of the Hirer, the Hirer will be liable to pay 100% of all charges payable in connection with the Let which shall include, but not be limited to: the Room Hire Charge, Catering Charges, and any Additional Charges. April 2025I have been to the Burrelll Collection before, but this was the first time for my daughter. It is a strange collection of art and antiquities from window frames to paintings and armour to sculpture from all over the world (Europe, Far East, India, Africa, etc.). I particularly like the way that door & window frames from old churches or stately homes have been fully incorporated into the building.

May 2025Enjoyable visit to The Burrell collection. We arrived and were offered to join a free tour, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. There is a lot to take it, and many areas we likely missed. We will return again... the inside area itself is very well looked after. The toilets were also spotless. Cafe food is a little expensive, but it is properly catered by professional chefs and is very fresh. We did enjoy the food and would pay the prices again. * please take the time to pay for parking as it is £100 fine if you are caught (GGC), and there were 2 wardens visibly checking tickets. It's not expensive considering its free entry. If you have any spare change, there is a donations box to contribute to on the way out. Allow yourself 2 - 3 hours
