If no alternative dates and/or venues are available, Glasgow Life shall refund to the Hirer any money paid (including any Deposit) in respect of the Let. No compensation will be paid by Glasgow Life for any losses sustained by the Hirer in respect of any such cancellation. 27.3 Should the Venue be required for any special event, annual event or departmental activity then the Hirer will be advised, where possible, and offered an alternative Venue and/or date, where one is available. 27.4 In the event that Glasgow Life requires to cancel the Let due to the action or inaction of the Hirer, the Hirer will be liable to pay 100% of all charges payable in connection with the Let which shall include, but not be limited to: the Room Hire Charge, Catering Charges, and any Additional Charges. Wonderful family outing. It is free to enter but you need to pay for parking which there was plenty of. There is a wide diversity of items in the collection. From antiquities of Egypt, Greece and China to artists such as Rodin, Degas and Cezzane. There are interactive videos for young ones. Plenty of space on the grounds for a picnic or there is a restaurant available inside. Large play area by the parking for little ones as well.

Shockingly impressive collection of artworks, textiles, collectibles and antique furniture ranging from the 1900s to the 600s from those I looked at. Staff all extremely friendly and the building itself is an architectural beauty. Well worth the visit. Gift shop was okay, had alot of local srtisinsl products which are appreciated but not alot of artwork and collection related items such as prints. Restaurant and cafe sell kinda the same things and they are quite expensive, I'd avoid. Free entry to the museum is always appreciated.

We love visiting the Burrell Collection and do so regularly. The collection is so huge that we see something new to us each time we visit. The building is now exceptionally well laid out and displays pieces with thought and sensitivity. The new restaurant is off excellent quality with delicious seasonal produce in a bright, spacious environment. Equally, the coffee shop at the main entrance is great for a cuppa and cake/ scone/ snack. With lots to see, plenty of light and space, the Burrell is a truly special place with something to tempt everyone.
