About Venue
The Mansfield House Hotel is a family run hotel offering luxury en-suite accommodation and is dog friendly. The original house which was built in the 1800’s as a private residence, has been refurbished to create a traditional Scottish atmosphere.
Dining is available in our fabulous Amarone Thistle Restaurant with our award-winning head chef Fabrizio Portella, Pheasant Bar or private dining in the Thistle Lounge. Our Pheasant bar offers a place to relax and is stocked with a vast selection of whiskies, ales and lagers, and we have an excellent selection of wines.
Function suite is available for hire per day and comfortably holds 200 guests.
Free WIFI is available throughout the property and ample parking is available on site.

This is a special hotel. Great staff. Beautiful. Food was fabulous. So glad we had the opportunity to stay here.

Was greeted very warmly by the gentleman on reception after a long day of travelling. Customer service was at its best here. Very dog friendly and a designated room for guests with dogs which was much appreciated and was beautifully presented. Nice rooms, lots of tea/coffee facilities and even a Nespresso machine which was a delightful addition to a budget room. A lot of hotels need to take a leaf out of this book! Our dog was stung on the nose by a wasp as we were checking out and as we were on holiday I panicked a little. The same gentleman on reception gave me the number and address of the vet he uses just round the corner, just incase! Many thanks 😊 🙏 Would definately stay here again if passing in the future.
