Milling Barn

We couldn’t be more grateful to the entire team at The Milling Barn for helping make our wedding day everything we hoped for and more. The venue itself is breathtaking, but it was the people behind it — especially Aimie — who truly made the whole experience so smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Aimie was incredible throughout the planning process: calm, organised, and always so helpful. From handling table decorations to managing last-minute changes, she made everything feel easy and stress-free. The team kindly stored our decorations safely the day before and had everything beautifully compiled and ready for us to collect after — which made the clean-up so much easier than we expected! The rooms were lovely — cosy, clean, and a real treat to stay in after such a full day — and the food was absolutely amazing. So many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was, and the breakfast the next morning was the perfect final touch. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place or team to celebrate our wedding with. Thank you for your warmth, reliability and for making the day feel so special.

We had our wedding reception at Milling Barn and it was the most wonderful day. The dressing room is perfect for getting ready with your bridesmaids and offers a relaxed place to start the day. The venue itself is beautiful and doesn't need much decoration adding to it. We had a few of the garden games to entertain our guests and these went down really well. The food was also really good and our guests all loved it! Thank you to all the team and especially to Niamh who was our wedding manager and made sure the day ran smoothly, making us feel very relaxed! She also made sure we tried our canapés whilst having many photos taken! Overall a stunning venue and one which holds lovely memories of our special day.

My wife, Ellie, and I recently had our wedding at Milling Barn and cannot praise them enough. From our first meeting with Aimie, our wedding planner, we found everything to be so easy with them Nothing was too much for us to ask for during those planning meetings and any questions we had were never any problems. On the day itself all of the staff were amazing. From the chefs, to the waiters, to the bar staff they all worked so hard. As my wife put it, we barely noticed them because it all ran so seemingly and effortlessly. Every single one of them deserves high praise. And the venue itself is beautiful. We fell in love with it from the moment we arrived . On our wedding day so many of our guests said how beautiful and amazing the venue was. If we could, we'd like to personally thank ever member of staff who worked during our wedding day, not also forgetting the staff who cooked and served us breakfast the next day. Thank you all. Your input on our wedding day cannot be underestimated and all the staff should be proud of the significant role they played in making our wedding day everything we hoped for and so much more.
