Went here for 2 days, 1 night. We really appreciated friendly proactive service, the food quality was excellent for all meals. The rooms were a good size and pretty spacious. We book spa treatments and used the pool and hot tub facilities. The grounds are visually stunning. Would recommend for a romantic weekend or place to have a relaxing break.

Stayed New Years Day for my 30th birthday, the staff were accommodating particularly in the restaurant and they made my birthday extra special with little touches. The rooms are quintessentially British, and has a really nice feel to it. The only slight disappointment was the spa as it advertised pictures with a sauna which is no longer there, and the pool was kid time when we went which was very busy. Would definitely return.

We came here for a belated Christmas party for my business and we had the most wonderful stay. We'd asked for a quiet room and they gratefully put us in a room on the top floor at the end of the East Wing. The room was small but totally manageable. The bed was so comfy and the pillows we're now trying to find back home as they're the best pillows we'd ever slept on! The dinner included in our stay was delicious with particular thanks to Louise who took great care of us while we ate. The man playing the piano in the dining room was particularly nice. We had breakfast delivered to our room the next day which was a real treat. Everything we ordered came and on time. We had spa treatments the next day and both of our therapists were really professional and very thorough with our massages. The oil they use is divine! All in all we loved our first stay here and got everything we needed and more. Keep up the amazing work you're doing with the guest service, it is appreciated!

An absolutely amazing stay from start to finish. The hotel is housed in a stunning early 20th-century building, and the grounds are breathtaking—perfect for long, scenic walks. There’s even a beautiful retired church on-site that adds so much character. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a suite, which was an incredibly beautiful room. The spa was top-notch and the service was impeccable; they truly looked after us. Highly recommended!

I booked a one night stay for my boyfriend as a surprise for his birthday in early January. The staff are so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a room upgrade which was a lovely surprise to us both. The room was stunning along with all the grounds. We had such an amazing stay and will definitely be returning again!
