This is a lovely events centre with ample parking available for guests. There are multiple rooms available in different sizes. The toilet facilities are good enough and well designed. Overall, I would be happy to use the venue for my events.

I helped organise a wake at this venue and was genuinely shocked at how bad it was. Charging £2,000 for a weekday booking is already steep, but you expect a certain standard for that price. Unfortunately, this place is a complete shambles from top to bottom. They happily take your money and then disappear - until they show up right at the end to rush you out. They promised the venue would be cleaned before our function, yet when we arrived as it was starting, tables were still scattered around, the carpets were filthy, and all of the toilets were blocked. There was no one on site to fix anything, and they didn’t answer their phone. The condition of the venue is honestly shocking. Every surface felt sticky - the bar, tables, kitchen, even parts of the floor - like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. The carpets were covered in stains, and there were literal holes in the floor exposing old drains or pipework. It felt unsafe as well as unhygienic. They’d also left a huge industrial dishwasher sitting in the middle of the room, which we had to move ourselves just to make the space usable. We paid corkage to bring our own drinks and use the bar, only to find the glasses were disgustingly dirty and the glass washer behind the bar didn’t work. In fact, none of the power sockets worked - not on the stage or behind the bar - so we had to run extension leads from the kitchen just to power the fridges. They had agreed we could come in on Sunday to set up since they had no bookings until Tuesday. When we arrived, the tables they’d promised to set out weren’t done. When we asked, they were rude, reluctantly did half of them, and then just left. When we had problems with the electrics, they were unreachable. At one point the alarm went off and rang continuously for two hours with no one attending or answering calls. They even allowed people to walk through the room for dance classes after we had already set everything up, completely unsupervised. Honestly, it’s unbelievable this place is allowed to operate like this. It felt unsafe, unhygienic, and wildly unprofessional. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had dealing with a business.
