ELITE VENUE!!! The worst place to have an event. The Indian Brother and Sister than supposedly run the place need to shut it down because they do not know how to run a business. First off their communication is so terrible, they don’t pick their calls and respond to messages, even to communicate with their staff is a big issue. The venue is so dirty and filthy, and extremely old. The toilet stalls don’t have their own locks, and the place stinks. The “changing room” is nothing to write home about. We paid for a particular decoration and they did something completely different and they claimed that what we paid for. I could go on and on about this venue, but my advice will be please never ever do your event at this place, you will regret it 100%. The security men are the only sensible people there, they made sure our event went well, big kudos to them.

We recently used this venue for our wedding reception. From our initial viewing of the room we were told the place was going to be refurbished with painted walls and new carpets. We did think £2000 for the evening was quite expensive but we needed a room with a large capacity. As our wedding day approached I tried to contact the venue and all my emails were unanswered, calls not picked up and text unanswered. The communication with them was extremely poor and at times rude. The day before I was eventually told that I could go in to set up the room after refusing to pay an extra charge for the privilege. The venue was very dirty,, with stained and ripped carpets, food all up the walls and decor broken. It hadn’t been refurbished at all. Once again my calls were ignored. With help of my friends we managed to make the room up to the best we could. The toilets were also unkempt with no lockable doors and no wheelchair accessible cubicle. Very poor as my sister is disabled and needed this facility. The outside of the venue is very tired looking and run down and after using an entire can of air freshener we managed to disguise the smell of curry. The bar prices are extremely expensive too at £6.80 for a pint of beer and £5.00 for a pint of coke. The staff that were included in the cost were only for bar service and we had to clean up ourselves or we would have been charged a further £300 !! We felt very disappointed with the customer service and recommended people explore other venues before choosing this site. We think they should invest there money back into this business and improve their customer service before promoting it anymore.
