We had our wedding at the Falcondale and the whole experience couldn't have been better! We had our 2 dogs with us over the weekend and they were treated like royalty by the staff. Hannah the wedding co-ordinater was brilliant and helped us out with our many requests, some of which were last minute but she took it all in her stride! The hotel and grounds are also beautifully picturesque, highly recommended.

Beautiful concept of relaxed, romantic country house experience in rural Wales. The owners and management were welcoming and charming and the staff without exception a delight. Dog friendly doesn’t begin to describe the affection our Shepherd experienced and the afternoon tea in the conservatory was a decadent delight. Well done Marco, Neil, Emma and staff. You nailed it.

Love this place. We were very welcome here with our dog. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Lovely food. Good size of rooms but the shower is not so great which I understand it’s an old building. The staff members are helpful and lovely.

Absolutely lush overnight romantic stay. The room was beautiful and even had a little juliet balcony. Bathroom was swish enough and the temple spa products to use, a really nice touch. Dinner was fabulous, as was the cheeseboard! And the staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. The location is also stunning and I really enjoyed my walk around the beautiful grounds. Have promised myself I will return when it is rhododendron season! Thank you for an amazing stay and all the work you are doing ti restore that gorgeous building xx

The Falcondale in Lampeter gave us the kind of Christmas afternoon tea that feels straight out of a romantic winter film. From the moment we stepped inside, we were met with towering, beautifully dressed Christmas trees, soft golden lighting, and festive music that wrapped the whole experience in warmth and sparkle. Their vegan Christmas afternoon tea was nothing short of exquisite — a generous array of seasonal delights, each plate presented with such care it felt almost too pretty to touch. The flavours were rich, creative, and deeply comforting; the pastries were little festive treasures; and the warm scones were perfection. And then, of course, there are Neil and Marco — the heart of the Falcondale. As always, they were charming, welcoming, and effortlessly attentive, adding that signature touch of grace and warmth that makes the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Between the atmosphere, the food, and the hospitality, the afternoon felt magical, romantic, and completely enchanting. A true Welsh gem, and an absolute must if you want to feel utterly spoiled this festive season. Absolutely delighted xx Ro
