We had an overnight stay here and then continued onto the lakes the next day. Our room was lovely and clean and also had a fridge. We had a room right next to the train station, but it wasn't a problem for us as we were tired upon our return after exploring the city. The train announcements stopped before midnight and resumed around 6-7 in the morning where we were ready for our delicious buffet breakfast, I would definitely stay there again. Staff were delightful and checked us in early.

We had an overnight stay (wish it was longer) reception staff lovely and informative , room was lovely and clean with coffee machine ,water and cookies in the fridge and a massive bed , nice shower . Short walk to Beatles statue and the cavern pub . Free parking and 17 min easy drive to Anfield Stadium which was the reason for our stay , train station right round the corner . Spent a few hours at the bar in hotel to our delight it was happy hour also having a few games of pool - again staff brilliant , had a lovely breakfast next morning before heading out . Perfect for us I really enjoyed myself would definitely book here again. Thank you.

We recently stayed at this hotel for the weekend. I am giving a high review due to the service we got at reception. I was a fool, and I booked the wrong dates on Booking.com, which I didn't realise until I was trying to check in and I was a day late!! But the lady on reception was absolutely amazing and sorted it all out for me, which she did not have to as it was my mistake! Great service. Great location!! the only thing was no air con in the rooms, which is usually not an issue but we were there on the hottest weekend so far! BUT there was a good size industrial fan in the room, so we didn't melt too much. ;0) We had a great stay and will definitely book this hotel again. (Maybe not in a heat wave!) Thank you Reception staff!!

Staff were accommodating with our requests for a quiet room. Everything was spotless. Reception staff on arrival were very friendly but professional. Organised out taxis and made sure we knew where we were going. Beds were comfy. Shower was hot. Liked the 'ship' references. Would have like them to take the theme into the bedrooms a little more. Would definitely stay again.

Loud hotel. Banging room and corridor doors. They could do a bit to deaden these. A lot of folks are waiting to get rooms at 1500 (check-in time), but they just were not ready. Check-in was slow and tedious, form filling even though details had been previously provided. The staff were really nice. The place was clean. The rooms are hot in summer. A fan was provided, and it was a fair size, but it made a lot of noise and didn't really do much. Plug sockets are few and not where you need them. There is nothing bedside, only on the desk. The room fridge fell apart at one point, and I wondered if it actually worked or if it was the hot room. Fair for the price, and a good location next to the station. Fits its 3 star rating.
