This hotel is stunning! I was shocked at the size of the room. The attention to detail is perfect, from the decor, to all the bits you need for your stay. The staff at reception were attentive. Especially Nicky, who was so lovely. I have stayed in other hotels before and this surpassed them all. I will definitely be booking again in the near future

Fantastic hotel. Great rooms and service. Incredible spa. Only downside is the location, as no now (June 2025) there isn’t much in the area within walking distance to experience. This will obviously change with the completion of Everton’s new ground which is very close.

Excellent experience at the hotel. The atmosphere is brilliant and I loved the whole feel of the “ship”. Very unusual corridor leading to the rooms. Rooms are very spacious with excellent setup. The main restaurant has a good selection of food and reasonably priced. The champagne bar is great. Most importantly the staff were excellent, every one was very attentive and welcoming

What a hotel!! The moment we arrived we fell in love with place and cannot recommend it enough from the friendliest staff, lovely food and amazing rooms! Saw so many poor reviews about dust in rooms but there is a sign in your room to inform you of this as it’s such a historic building it’s expected there to be dust due to the exposed brick work design so no complaints from us to enjoy the beauty of the building and there was hardly any dust anyways! We enjoyed the spa facilities and a massage which was thoroughly enjoyed and definitely recommend ! We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but the breakfast was so lovely, fresh and so many options. Overall our stay has exceeded our expectations with some of the reviews and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone and we definitely will be back! Thank you to the lovely staff despite an event at the hotel with a few celebrities staying at the hotel we were never treated any differently, rushed or made to move for them and treated us with professionalism and kindness.
