Coffee Shop Balham, Downstairs

The baristas at this coffee shop were amazing – such great customer service! Thank you Hellen and Valery for your lovely service. There’s a fantastic selection of cakes, the iced chai latte was delicious, and the coffee and smoothies were great too. It was so nice to find a spot with plenty of seating and space for my pushchair. I’ll definitely be back!

I don’t really like leaving bad reviews. But the breakfast here was awful - cold, overdone eggs, bacon and toast. It seems the girl serving the drinks is also cooking the food. So I guess when people are coming in for food, they also have to stop and serve customers meaning all the food gets cold and overdone: I liked this place and have had many takeaway drinks before but I won’t be returning, even for a drink. If you are serving food, please have a separate staff member cooking this. Or please just take food off the menu and just focus on drinks.
