About Venue
The Building Centre sits just off Tottenham Court Road, in the heart of Fitzrovia. The building is closely linked to architecture and the built environment, with interiors shaped around scale, light, and structure.
Seven event spaces are spread across multiple floors. These support evening receptions, conferences, product launches, exhibitions, workshops, talks, and private dinners. Rooms vary in size and feel, allowing events to move between formal and informal settings.
The Main Gallery accommodates large receptions of up to 200 guests. Seminar Suites are used for talks and hybrid events, with in-built technical support. The Lower Gallery offers a more enclosed setting for networking and smaller gatherings.
The venue is licensed for evening hire and supports events of up to 350 guests across the building. Spaces are hybrid-ready and supported by an experienced on-site team and established catering partners. The location is central and well connected, making the venue suitable for both daytime and evening use.
The Boardroom is a modern, fully equipped meeting space designed for executive meetings, client presentations, and focused team sessions. Located on the second floor, it benefits from large windows overlooking the Store Street crescent, providing natural daylight and a calm, professional setting in central London.
The room is configured in a fixed boardroom layout, supporting clear discussion and effective decision-making. Facilities include a large HD screen, high-speed Wi-Fi, blackout blinds, and flexible lighting, making it suitable for presentation-led meetings at any time of day. Video conferencing and in-house AV support are available if required.
Our dedicated events team is on hand to support delivery, and catering can be arranged through our partner, offering everything from light refreshments and working lunches to canapés, sit-down meals, and drinks receptions.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. If the Building Centre has not confirmed receipt of your cancellation within two working days, please contact our Venue Hire Co-ordinator. The following charges will apply when bookings are cancelled: - More than 12 weeks before the event: No charge - 10–12 weeks before the event: 25% of total space hire - 8–10 weeks before the event: 50% of total space hire - 4–8 weeks before the event: 75% of total space hire - 1–4 weeks before the event: 100% of total space hire - 7 days or less before the event: 100% of total space hire, catering, and technical costs
