About Venue
Mareida is a contemporary Chilean restaurant and wine bar on Great Portland Street in Fitzrovia, London, celebrating the landscapes, traditions, and flavours of Chile and the Andean South through a modern fine-dining lens. It is one of very few restaurants in the UK dedicated to Chilean cuisine, and the first of its kind to receive recognition from the Michelin Guide.
The restaurant has been designed entirely by Chilean creatives, and it shows. Volcanic stone walls, copper-accented woodwork, hand-dyed textiles, curated Chilean artworks, a large open kitchen, and Chilean furniture give the space a cohesive cultural identity that goes well beyond decoration. The menu is seasonal, built by Head Chef Nico Einersen using quality British produce, with the full breadth of Chilean culinary tradition running through every dish. An exclusively Chilean wine list sits alongside thoughtfully crafted cocktails including the house Pisco Sour.
Mareida is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. A fully private dining room is available for groups of up to 14, and the kitchen and floor team look after every detail of a private event from arrival to close. Chilean wine pairings can be curated for the table.
Great Portland Street station is under a five-minute walk and Oxford Circus and Regent's Park are both close by. No on-site parking.
