About Venue
Britannia Leisure Centre is a fantastic local facility offering a wide range of activities for the whole community. The centre contains a state of the gym, swimming pool with a wave machine and slide, fitness class studio, sports hall, squash courts, health suite, outdoor pitches and a function room. With a highly successful GP referral scheme and a thriving junior programme it really is a centre with something for everyone. We also offer swim school lessons and courses for all ages and abilities.
This studio is programmed with a range of Fitness Classes to vary your workout - from beginners to advanced level - in a fun and sociable environment.

Love the new gym & changing facilities. Staff are always friendly & happy to help. Cafe is nice, with outside seating in the summer. The inside foldable bike storage is fabulous! Dropped a star because I preferred the old swimming pool, especially the wave machine.

We were invited to a birthday party with exclusive access to the interactive flume, pool and splash pad. We had been before during a public session and my little one loved it. My only issue was with staffing. Originally they were not opening the flume due to being short staffed. Thankfully they found the staff but in general didn't seem to have been informed that a party was due. Aside from that it was lovely to see how well used the leisure centre is. We saw water polo, volleyball and kendo with all ages taking part. We will definitely be back. It's a fantastic venue for a kids party.

I've been using this gym for a while, and overall it could be a great place if a bit more care was given to maintenance and hygiene. Some of the equipment doesn't get fixed for a long time, and the cleaning in certain areas, especially upstairs, could definitely be improved. With regular upkeep and better attention to detail, this gym could easily become one of the best around.

This Gym has good potential, but it really needs better attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Some machines are often out of service, and the gym floor, essentially on the second floor doesn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. With more focus on hygiene and proper upkeep, the experience for members could be so much better.
