I recently hosted a tennis party for my birthday at Britannia Leisure Centre and had such a fantastic experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to Eleni who helped organise everything. She was incredibly friendly, professional, helpful, and made the whole process completely stress-free. Nothing was too much trouble, and she really went above and beyond to make sure the event ran smoothly and everyone had a great time. It was great to also have a studio for my friends and I to enjoy birthday cake after playing. Lamyae was also amazing on the day at hosting us - she was extremely warm and approachable and I appreciated her showing me around the areas and demonstrating the features. The facilities were excellent and the atmosphere was brilliant. All of my guests had an amazing time and several commented on how well organised everything was. The reception staff are always so lovely and helpful also. I really appreciated all the effort and care that went into making the day special. I would highly recommend Britannia Leisure Centre for events, tennis or parties. Thank you again!

I've had lovely experiences when visiting this place, the staff are very helpful and welcoming. in terms of the gym there are lots of new equipment, spots are usually free and the inductions are instructive and very easy to book. the kids pool is quite crowded but the lessons provided are great, the lane pool is similar and has frequent use but not overcrowded. the football pitches are great for a game with amazing lighting, this is also reflected in the squash and basketball courts.

I cannot recommend Jazz highly enough! Today was my son's very first swimming lesson, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how it went. At the start, he was extremely nervous and didn’t even put his legs in the water. As a parent, I was worried that he wouldn't take part at all. Jazz was incredibly kind, patient, and professional from the very beginning. She made my son feel comfortable, safe, and supported, and her calm approach helped build his confidence throughout the session. What really stood out to me was the care and dedication she showed after the group lesson had finished. My son was still struggling with his confidence, but Jazz took the time to work with him individually and gave him extra encouragement and support. She didn't have to do that, but she genuinely cared and wanted him to succeed. The difference in my son by the end of the session was amazing. He went from being scared of the water to not wanting to get out of the pool! Seeing that transformation in just one lesson was incredible. Thank you, Jazz, for your patience, kindness, and hard work. The positive impact you had on my son in such a short amount of time was truly remarkable. We are so grateful and look forward to seeing his confidence continue to grow with your help.

Tennis court only review. Worst court I have ever played on. 1. The net is so low, asked staff to help and they couldn’t do much about it 2. The ground is made out of these plastic tiles. Never seen anything like that before and I play for a tennis club. They bounce weird and bounce differently in certain sports. 3. The court is on the roof, so on a windy day, its not so fun to play on.

WARNING to tennis players - based on my experience. There is a £3 additional charge for every guest that joins you. The guy at the reception said it shows when you book but it doesn’t (yes, I checked the t&c under the booking page), not even in email booking confirmation. This is done intentionally by the company to attract more bookings and make money. Only the person who booked the court can enter. BUT can someone play tennis on their own??? It doesn’t make any sense.
