We visited the Couting House for a drink while doing the usual tourist thing in the City of London. The staff were friendly and the drinks prices no worse than any other London pub. The interior was magnificent with a large island bar, polished wooden staircase, mosaic tile floor, very high ceiling with chandeliers and a glass dome roof as well as a mezanine balcony, upstairs dining and several side rooms as well as a terrace at the rear for smokers. There were lots of historical pictures and adornments to look at. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Visited this stunning pub with my parent this afternoon on our way to Leadenhall Market, and we were both blown away! The interior is absolutely gorgeous, blending traditional pub charm with breathtaking high ceilings and historic architecture.
