The Langham Hotel London, The Fitzrovia

We spent four nights at the Langham Hotel in London, and from the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The décor, architecture, stunning flower arrangements, and warm hospitality made us feel truly fortunate to be staying in such an elegant hotel. When we checked in, we realized we hadn’t booked through American Express Platinum, which offers extra perks. Gino at reception kindly suggested we contact AMEX to see if they could help. We did, and AMEX reached out to the hotel manager, who graciously applied the benefits to our stay, including a room upgrade. Monika at the front desk assisted us with choosing our new room, even showing us several options before we decided. We settled on a lovely corner room overlooking Regent Street and Cavendish Place. The room was quiet from street traffic, though we could hear some noise from the Wigmore Pub below. Fortunately, it closed at 11:00 PM, so it never disturbed our sleep. The only other minor drawback was the faint rumble of the subway beneath the hotel, which continued until around 1:00 AM when the line shut down for the night. Shortly after settling in, we were treated to a generous bowl of fresh fruit and some decadent chocolates. The concierge team was equally impressive—every recommendation for day trips and restaurants was spot on. Overall, our stay at the Langham was wonderful, and it’s made us eager to try other Langham properties on future travels. We would absolutely recommend the Langham London.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Well looked after, upgraded room, kind gestures such as a complimentary bottle of champagne for a friend whose birthday it was. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice and all cooked exactly how the individual likes it. Our waitress was very pleasant. A very clean and well presented hotel that had an air of calmness and a relaxed feel to it. Didn’t feel crammed. Bed was big and comfy. I would recommend.
