The four star Montague on the Gardens Hotel combines the best of two worlds. In front is the British Museum and the hurly-burly of tourist London, whilst to the rear there's a serene private garden, cut off from the city by a rectangle of fine Georgian townhouses.

The Leopard Bar Terrace can hold up to 50 people reception style and is a popular venue for weddings, celebrations, and events. It also boasts a fully retractable roof and sides and full air conditioning to offer the perfect venue all year round.

Had a really lovely stay here for 5 days in London. There are so many hotel choices in London, I wanted a smaller hotel that was wasn’t a chain where service would be a little more personal. We were not disappointed. The staff here is spot on. Had dinner one night - a little limited menu but there are plenty of restaurant options just around the corner. Breakfast buffet was a little pricy but you can also order ala carte off the menu for a pretty reasonable price. I loved this hotel. Great location if you don’t need to stay in the city center.

This hotel is a delight! Sadly, I only stayed here for two nights, but I wish I could have stayed longer! The staff members are so nice. The restaurants are really good! The entryway and general decor is lovely, and very English. Wonderful place!

The Montague on the Gardens was such a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for five nights at the beginning of June and our entire experience was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and they were very understanding of my gluten allergy. The rooms are not massive, but very comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location, but quiet at night. The hotel’s bar, the Leopard Bar, was such a fun place to start or end the night with a drink and a game of cards. The staff were incredible as well and were able to help me adjust a dinner reservation after I made an error. Can’t recommend the Montague enough!
