I love this comedy club, it was only our second visit but came out with face ache from laughing so much. Different acts each week, but both times they have been brilliant. You choose where you sit so try to avoid the front rows (unless you want a roasting). There is food available and obviously a bar. A few breaks during the show to top up your drinks. A really great night and venue at reasonable prices. Definitely give it a go.

Found ourselves with a free night in Deptford and came across this place. Firstly tickets were great value, decent drink selection and there is a Detroit pizza gaff inside the venue that looked great but unfortunately we'd already eaten so couldn't try it. There were 4 acts in total, the first 3 were good and we almost left after the 3rd as we were very tired but decided to stay as we were enjoying it. If we had have left after the 3rd act I'd be giving it 5 stars but we didn't and the 4th act was very political, I just don't see a place for politics in comedy, I just want a laugh and unfortunately it took away from the night for me. Would still defo recommend and would go again if was in the area.

I've been to this club on and off for past 15 years. The enjoyment is mainly to do with which acts are on and if the suit you. The venue is good but flat seating so can be hard to see if someone tall in front. But has a good bar and they are usually friendly, occasionally can seem more interested in conversations with each other than serving customers.

Up the Creek Comedy Club is an absolute brilliant night out, offering a wonderfully relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that sets it apart from other comedy venues. The first thing you notice is the thoughtful seating arrangement — tables with chairs instead of the usual cramped rows, making it easy to enjoy your drinks and chat between acts. The bar is well stocked, with a great selection of beers and ciders at reasonable prices, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm, lively vibe of the place. As for the show itself, it was nothing short of brilliant — top-notch comedians delivering big laughs from start to finish. With minimal entry fees and such a great overall experience, Up the Creek is a must-visit for anyone who loves a good laugh in a fun, comfortable setting.
