Our riverside venue is a top pick for weddings, celebrations, meetings, events, and conferences. Our rooms feature charming period details such as beautiful wooden floors, sparkling crystal chandeliers, and tall windows that provide stunning views of the Thames.
The exclusive hire of the first floor is the largest of our event spaces, which includes The Nelson room and the adjacent Hawke & Howe bar. The space can accommodate seated events for up to 180 and standing events for 350 guests.
Alternatively, for smaller events, The Hawke & Howe can accommodate up to 60 seated or 100 guests standing, whilst The Hardy Suite on the 2nd floor can accommodate 60 seated or 80 guests for a standing event.
We also have a dedicated private dining and bar within The Pickle Room, accommodating 20 seated on one table and 32 on adjacent tables.
…and for those wanting something completely different, our newest addition to the family; The Cribbs Parlour is hidden away below deck. A speakeasy-style members' bar, the venue features low-slung seating and offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of the Trafalgar upstairs.
If you’re looking for the most decadent private hire space in Greenwich then look no further. Set in the first floor, our most awe-inspiring space in the building consists of the Nelson and Dreadnought Room.
This gorgeous space has bi-folding doors that can be fully opened to create one large open space or closed to create spaces suitable for smaller events. So whatever style event you’re planning, you’ll be guaranteed to be well catered for. With exceptional views across the River Thames, the Nelson Room offers the perfect backdrop for your event or wedding ceremony.
Complete with ornate Regency-style balconies and walls lined with 19th-century artwork, this wonderful space can accommodate up to 180 for seated dinners or 300 for standing events.

May 2025Beautiful pub by the riverside..it was already packed at 6.30pm..luckily we were placed at a table and had a good meal.. ordered the white bait and chowder which tasted really good and some cocktails.. ended it with a brownie-& ice cream sprinkled with oats. Different combo but good one.

June 2025Gary made our experience at Trafalgar Tavern awesome! His service was 5 stars!!!! Great recommendations on the food and wine, and he even sang a song for my step dad Father day (even though it’s not until Sunday!) Amazing service, amazing atmosphere and he really made our day! My parents loved it! Thanks again Gary!!!!

May 2025Great atmosphere and vibe, the place is decorated really nicely. Love all the pictures everywhere. It was really busy but we got a seat with help from the staff and they said drinks really quickly. You got the charcuterie it could have been a bit better. Could have been some more stuff on there. But overall it was good. Dog friendly too, which is always a bonus

May 2025Dropped in here for a bite to eat at lunch time having arrived on a Thames river trip. This is a very good pub for food. The interior is vibrant and nautically themed in keeping with its position alongside the Thames and all of its history. Used to come here many moons ago and so pleased to see it’s still here and in good shape. Thoroughly enjoyed the vibe, great views along the Thames. The service was quick and excellent. Had the cod and chips while my friend had a plant based burger, both fresh, nicely cooked and tasty. If you’re looking for an historic pub, this is a must and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend.

May 2025Lovely, historic pub (which is nice, not a chain like the Greene King, Fullers, etc), in a beautiful setting. Such a charming inside area and a wonderful outdoor area on the Thames. The weather was gorgeous and we couldn’t have wanted a better setting. Our food was excellent, especially the cheese and onion tart! Definitely book a table ahead of time, it gets quite busy!!
