About Venue

The Magic Circle is a truly enchanting venue, full of mystery, intrigue and priceless treasures, where the finest magicians from all over the world gather to share their secrets.

A minute walk from Euston Station, two minutes from Euston Square Station and only ten minutes from Kings Cross, St Pancras and Oxford Circus, The Magic Circle is an intimate venue, available to hire exclusively for your event, corporate function or party. On arrival through the doors of The Magic Circle you are instantly entranced by the “floating” spiral staircase and each of our four rooms has a distinct character, themed and decorated with magical exhibits, and the building also houses one of London’s best kept secrets – The Magic Circle Theatre. We can accommodate groups from 6 to 162 for any event, from small meetings to training seminars, exhibitions, conferences, product launches, AGM’s, to lunches, dinners, parties and corporate entertainment. We can even provide magicians to entertain you.

The Museum is located on the lower ground floor and is a treasure trove of items from the golden age of music halls. If hiring the building exclusively the Museum is included in the venue hire fee, and can act as an ice breaker at the start of the day or be available for your delegates to view at their own convenience. Alternatively a guide can be hired to bring The Museum to life.

The Museum can also be hired for a small board meeting up to 10 delegates or used as a breakout space.

My family and I booked The Secret Tour for our son's birthday. I was instantly impressed with how polite, welcoming and friendly the staff were upon arrival. There were three small groups that toured different parts of the Magic Circle at the same time. This meant the magic shows were small with great views and interaction with the magicians. We were lucky to see John Duffet and David Penn. My son loves card tricks and close up magic. He was blown away by John Duffet and inspired to keep learning his tricks. John was such an awesome guy and a credit to the Magic Circle. After the show he took a picture with our son and signed the Magic Circle cards we purchased. David Penn was another absolute gent. The magic was incredible and we loved the tech tricks as well. Some of David's tricks were just mindblowing and he too had great stage presence. The comedy elements were also spot on, with everyone laughing in our group. The museum section was very interesting and I think it needed the gentleman explaining some of the exhibits as this definitely added to the experience. We would definitely go back in a heartbeat. It was excellent value for money and the 2.5 hours passed by too quickly. A brilliant place with awesome staff.

My first visit to the Magic Circle, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The venue is slightly off the main roads, but within minutes of Euston Station. It had the feel of a private club, which is what it is. Within the bar area (very reasonably priced, tea/coffee as well as alcohol available) prior to the show, there were lots and lots of posters, displays of magicians and magic. Fabulous to look at. The show was in a proper theatre seating I'd guess around 100 people. (a fun spiral staircase to get to it, but I think there was also a lift). Very comfortable I have to say. The show I was there to see was nine different magicians with short 8-10 minutes acts held together by a compare. The acts were a magical selection of new acts being tried/tested out, to a public audience, often for the first time. Although some of the acts need to be polished everyone was very clever, very entertaining and I've no idea how they were done. I'm not sure if the place is open to just visit, but shows are performed regularly here and if you like magic, often with a comedy twist get down to a Magic Circle show.
