The Rooftop Terrace Bar at Doggett's Coat and Badge is the top-floor private hire space at 1 Blackfriars Bridge on the South Bank, with capacity for up to 120 standing or 40 seated guests.
This is one of the best-positioned private hire spaces in London. The panoramic views take in St Paul's Cathedral, The Shard, The City, and the Thames from an elevated outdoor terrace with glass walls, wooden decking, and potted plants. A bar sits inside the space, and the area is available for private hire only when booked — it is not open to the general public at the same time. Guests can connect their own playlist, and an external DJ can be brought in to use the in-house PA system. Complimentary WiFi, a projector and screen, tea and coffee, and morning pastries are all included. A full range of menus is available from the in-house kitchen.

The space has a retractable roof that opens up in good weather and covers the area when it rains, with integrated heating keeping guests comfortable into the evening. Wooden decking, planter boxes, and outdoor tables and chairs give it a relaxed, sociable feel. It is a good fit for informal birthday gatherings, hen dos, corporate drinks, and summer celebrations where the group wants an outdoor setting without committing to the weather. Buffet and drinks packages are available from the in-house kitchen. Please note this is a semi-private area and other garden guests may be nearby, and there is no PA system in this space.
