If you want to get to the class, you need to arrive very early. I waited at the door for seven minutes for them to let me in, and in the end they didn't let me into class because I was 10 minutes late.

I went to this studio plenty of times before COVID, but I didn’t feel I made any progress. It seemed the teachers focused mostly on the more advanced students. Of course, this also depends on the individual teacher. Most of the teachers came across as arrogant. I had a few teachers (about 5–6), and only two were really nice — I remember one was Jackie, who was Swiss. For example, one teacher stopped me from enhancing a pose because “we haven’t practiced it yet,” which was frustrating. In my previous school, I felt much more challenged. After around 20 lessons here, I felt like I wasted money and made zero progress. I also booked a beginners’ class, but it ended up being choreography with “sexy moves.” Even after I told the teacher I wasn’t comfortable, I left the class and they refused to refund me. Overall, if you don’t go to the gym or practice outside, you won’t gain strength, and the teacher tends to offer the same poses for weeks without any progression. The studio is crowded — one teacher for many students, and more advanced girls aren’t always willing to help unless prompted. The price is too expensive given that the venue is in a dark basement, with no space and no proper changing room — it’s shared with guys. The warm-up and stretching are too long; I had to pay for a 90-minute lesson where the warm-up and stretching took 15–20 minutes of the lesson. The last 10 minutes are "free practice" where as a beginner I was exhausted from excersise and bored. It felt like a break for the teacher. I wanted to attend a 60-minute lesson, which is cheaper, but they didn’t offer it at all. You might see more progress if you go at least twice a week, but it’s expensive and not worth it, especially in a big studio with many students and only one teacher. In comparison, I made more progress in just five classes in Birmingham than in 20 classes at this studio. I also tried silk yoga and stretching classes here — they were fun, but again very expensive, and not really worth the price when you can do similar exercises at home for free
