Thoroughly enjoyed visiting, the atmosphere was great and you felt welcomed. Food was hot and tasty - we had black pudding scotch eggs, croquettes and flooded mash, all were lovely. Friendly service, always a bonus!

Booked it for a festive Sunday lunch. First thought on arrival was that the pictures of the venue online were very different from reality. The pub was filled with advertising digital screens, the sort you’d find on a high street or a shopping centre. An atmosphere killer that felt cheap and a bit depressing. Beef roast was served cold and the cauliflower cheese side had hardly any cheese in it. Wouldn’t go back or recommend.
