Holiday Inn Manchester West, Quay Suite One Or Two

I had one of the worst hotel experiences here. The room was extremely old, poorly insulated, and noisy — the heating system sounded like a construction site, making it impossible to sleep. When I asked to change rooms, the staff said all rooms were the same and refused. Because of the unbearable noise, I had to sleep wearing my AirPods Pro with noise cancellation on. The next day, I accidentally left them on the pillow when I checked out. Later, I tracked their exact location through Apple’s “Find My” and saw they had been moved from the hotel to a different area. I immediately called the hotel. The staff said housekeeping “didn’t report anything,” then changed their story multiple times — first claiming they’d already called the cleaner, then saying the cleaner wasn’t working already and I’d have to wait until tomorrow. The manager showed no responsibility, refused to take any action, and didn’t even apologize. It’s clear my AirPods were taken by someone from the hotel, yet they completely ignored my evidence. This place is extremely unprofessional, with outdated facilities, zero soundproofing, and staff who don’t care about guests’ property or experience. Absolutely not recommended. Stay away from this hotel.
