Housed in the Great Northern Warehouse, Manchester235 offers more event options under one roof than anywhere else in the city. Dine at James Martin Manchester’s private Chef’s Table or take over the 170-seat restaurant, sip cocktails in the leather-lined Icon VIP Bar, book a Main Bar booth or private Poker Lounge, or convert our hidden suite—stage, HD screen and all—for conferences, awards or parties of up to 175.
Booking is refreshingly simple: meet the food-and-drink minimum and the space is yours—no extra charges for room, AV or service. We’re strictly 18+ with a Challenge 25 ID check, and a smart dress code applies.
Floating above the gaming action on a private mezzanine, James Martin Manchester is the showpiece restaurant of Manchester235. With room for 170 guests, the space marries the raw beauty of the Grade II-listed Great Northern Warehouse—exposed brick, towering steel girders—with velvet-soft fabrics, vintage artwork and a wash of natural daylight. By night, subtle uplighting transforms the room into an elegant stage for James’s celebrated, seasonal British menus. The result is a dining experience that feels both steeped in heritage and unmistakably contemporary.

January 2025First time at a formal casino. The blackjack dealer with the do-rag was brilliant - he ensured my first visit was welcomed, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the table whilst he was dealing. Although I didn't win, I had the most amazing time! Friendly staff, reasonably-priced drinks and exceptional service. I Definitively will be visiting again.

December 2024Great casino. Friendly staff on reception and in the bar. Plenty of tables and electronic gambling.

May 2025I visited a couple times, winning and losing. But if you are looking for a quiet, friendly place to do some gambling, this is where you go

March 2025Nice atmosphere, comfy chairs, staff are friendly, free self serve drinks. They have interesting events on throughout the year. Decent points program, albeit somewhat confusing as the app and website are both fairly broken. However, have been regularly overcharged for food (over £40 total so far) and the food used to be very nice, but recently is quite poor. Definitely avoid the pizza! Sometimes they treat others differently under the same circumstances. Many of the £5 chips are now very worn, of which one had the sticker peeled up and when I handled it, it cut my finger. ATM charges £1.85 a time, which kinda sucks. And although not directly Mancheser235's fault, the NCP car park is predatory. Several times when I paid, they sent a PCN anyway and I had to waste a chunk of time appealing them. It's a gamble this casino. Lots to like, but also room to improve.

May 2025Some dealers are professional, but I feel sorry for a few who act really badly. It’s sad behaviour, but at the end of the day, I’m winning with my knowledge. Who cares what a few dealers think? If I were Elvis Presley, it would be a different matter – keeping an eye on good vibes and people having a good time at the casino.
