The 4 staff members we encountered were absolutely fantastic, so helpful and professional. The view from the room was amazing, however need the A/C not to click off during the night on a hot sunny weekend. Loved this hotel, breakfast was extensive and had loads of options. Clean throughout.

Love the Copthorne, they have some of the most professional staff I've ever encountered. Got a bargain booking through Trivago, double room & breakfast and two free glasses of wine for £84. Also, you don't need to checkout until midday, it's rare that a hotel offers it's customers that convenience.

Nicola at reception gave us a warm greeting upon arrival and quickly upgraded us to a suite upon request. She was really helpful with directions to the nearest pharmacy as my husband was concerned about a deep cut on his finger from the previous weekend. She and Sam, were both genuinely concerned about it and were pleased we gave them an update the following day prior to leaving. The room was huge with great black out curtains and a really comfy bed. Dinner was delicious and plentiful. The carpark lift took us directly to the hotel foyer so was very convenient. A great location, we will definetly stay again. Alina & Steve

Lovely stay, excellent super king bed and lovey pillows (first time ever to have good comfy pillows in a hotel!!), lovely friendly staff and great breakfast options, luckily starting nice and early. Beware the kitchen closes early so if you’re there in business you won’t get any food after 9:00 pm. We did get a drink in the bar and an cuppa and a biscuit in the room for dinner but that was the only disappointment. Would definitely stay again.

The view, the towels and the bed were nice. Other than that the room temperature was unbearably hot, a lot hotter than in the corridor or the lobby or outside. The fan that they provided helped a little, but it turned off automatically in the night, so you wake up regularly because it's too hot to turn on the fan again. On top of it at the popular showering times in the morning the water was cold and when we needed to leave for the airport at night, the water was boiling hot. The staff was explaining calmly how there's nothing they can do. No compensation was offered. Overall disappointed. Location wise a little apart from the centre and bus stops, but that can be taken into account before arrival.
