Stayed for 2 nights,to celebrate being old. The hotel is really clean and tidy as was our room (443). The staff was good, didn't have a problem. There is a couple of things to be aware of. The first thing. Make sure you check in at the right hotel, there is 2 Leonardo's in the area. We made the mistake of going to the one near multi storey carpark,. And got a bit worried cos they couldn't find us on thrir booking list. This hotel is on the quayside, with a 15 mins walk into Newcastle or a 15 mins walk into Gateshead. The other thing to be wary of is the carpark. Only holds about 20 cars,so if you go out your parking spot might be gone. But there is a road down the side with one single yellow line, which you can park at just have to make sure you move it before 8am. The meals are expensive and not really much choice on menu. That said would come back to this hotel

Nice place, friendly staff. Restaurant in my opinion could do with more of a variety of choice and was a little pricey. As not knowing the area would have been nice to if known what local shops and takeaways there are and how to get to them etc. The room and bathroom was very nice and clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend

Amazing location. View of the river Tyne right outside of our bedroom window. A lovely walk over the Millennium Eye and we were in the hub of the city. The Hotel was super clean, very comfortable room. The bathroom was functional with clean towels and adequate shower was and shampoo. The check in and out was simplified online. Dining room breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we have experienced in a long time. Well done, we will be back.

Huge comfy bed in a large, clean room (Only gripe was hard pillows). Lots of extra touches too. The staff were all lovely and the whole place felt welcoming. The food at breakfast was hot and delicious. Will be our go to hotel in Newcastle when visiting family. Highly recommended.

Hotel is in a great location and staff were really nice. The hotel needs a good refurbishment. The rooms are serviceable but a bit tatty. Bathroom had water damage on a number of areas, there were dings and little bits of damage around the room. It didn't make the stay uncomfortable and for £60 it was still good value but it definitely made it a work trip hotel rather than a romantic trip hotel. Parking was a nightmare, the parking bays are unmarked which reflects the need for refurbishment inside but they meant that there was far less capacity than there could've been. The evening menu was pretty good and pizza was nice although a bit expensive which probably reflects distance from competition being a good walk from other restaurants. Breakfast were good standard buffet fare.
