I can tell you straight from the horses mouth that this is a great place to come for an afternoon/ evening out. Should you bet for the favourite, or go for an outsider? That is the equestrian. I had a few wins but my luck didn't last furlong. Stop foaling around now. Plenty of free parking, lots of betting stands in front of the grandstand, loads of space to take your own picnic and sit on the grass. Beer a bit pricey at +£5 a pint but lots of fun and well worth the visit.
