Great Yarmouth Racecourse, Vice Admiral Bar

Great day out, especially if you have a few wins. Food and drink rather expensive, if you are there for eight races, it adds up very quickly. Fortunately I managed to cover mine with winnings 😁, hope you get lucky as well.

My partner & I booked hospitality at the Trafalgar restaurant for today's racing over the phone with a lady called Lisa Cutter who very kindly gave us a complimentary bottle of wine with our meal! It was a lovely gesture & very much appreciated, thank you so much for your kindness. We had a fabulous day, all the staff there are so lovely & helpful it made our day!

​A Disappointing Experience—Stagnant Event in Desperate Need of an Accessibility Revamp I have been attending Great Yarmouth Comic Con for a while, but unfortunately, the event has become completely stagnant. It is the exact "same old, same old" every single year with absolutely nothing new to offer. The stalls feel overpriced for what they are, and the food options are incredibly poor—it is almost entirely fried food with absolutely no variation or consideration for people with specific dietary requirements. The lively, exciting atmosphere that used to exist is completely gone. It feels like the event is just going through the motions. My Recommendation to the Organizers: This event needs a massive, top-to-bottom revamp. They absolutely must move the guests downstairs so that everything is on one level. Having the main attraction upstairs when you only have one small lift is a terrible design. The racecourse needs to fix the potholes, the layout needs to be opened up to allow people to move freely, and management needs to better handle guest appearances so paying customers aren't left stranded. As it stands, I cannot recommend this event to anyone, especially if you have mobility needs. It needs to be a lot better.
