We had a big family reunion, ages ranging from under 1 to over 90. We had been here before, and came again because it was such a good venue. Plenty of space both inside and outside for people to socialise, and a lovely garden. The food was excellent. It's a good location with easy access by road or rail.

I was part of a family party of 14 people, aged from 13-86 - plus two dogs - staying at the hotel for 2-3 days in May '25 for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. I would recommend everything about the hotel, it's as great as it looks in the website photos, but also the location in the village of Iffley is fabulous. The rooms are great, the bar and restaurant have a great ambience and great food and drinks - and the patio and garden are fabulous. Everything is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The best dog friendly hotel we've found yet, also. But above all I'd like to compliment all of the staff. Extremely professional and charming, so helpful when needed - they really made our stay. We will definitely be back.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel just outside of Oxford. After a last-minute scramble due to a scam Airbnb, we were so relieved to find this gem — and it completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Wendy and Tomek, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The grounds are spacious, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. It’s both pet-friendly and wonderfully child-friendly, which made all the difference for us as a family. They even made our son’s Easter weekend truly magical — he was thrilled knowing the Easter Bunny was coming! We stayed in the Elm House, and our room was gorgeous — light-filled, thanks to a huge bay window overlooking the grounds. The bathroom was luxurious, and the bed was supremely comfortable. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a relaxing country escape with the convenience of being close to Oxford. It’s just a 10-minute bus ride into town, and honestly, we can’t wait to come back. Highly, highly recommended.

We had a wonderdul stay here. Perfect location for us as we could walk along the river in to town. Cleaning staff did a great job. Star of our stay was Wendy who welcomed us to breakfast every day. She provided the best customer service we’ve had on our four week holiday throughout Europe. Brought a smile to our face to start the day. Thanks everyone -we’ll be back.

The hotel is in a great location, really picturesque. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are really nice - clean and spacious. Breakfast was really nice, the hotel itself has a really nice vibe, you kinda just want to hang out around there. It's really good. I'd definitely stay here again. Got exactly what I paid for
