Our Amara Ballroom is our largest event space with capacity of up to 300. With it’s own private bar and outdoor terrace this space is a perfect self contained room for all types of corporate events from conferences, team building, exhibitions to gala dinners. The Ballroom is situated on the edge of our golf course and the floor to ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the grounds and an abundance of natural light.

Cancellation policy

In the event of a reservation having been confirmed in writing and then cancelled the following cancellation charges will be employed by the Company and the Client will be required to pay in accordance with the following table for function room hire, food, special equipment and appropriate loss of revenue. Cancellations received up to 12 months: The non refundable deposit will be forfeited Cancellations received 6 months: 50% of the total price and the instalments paid will be forfeited Cancellations received 1 month: 100%

We had our wedding at Cotswolds Hotel & Spa last Saturday, and we couldn't have asked for a better day! The events planning team were so helpful and attentive throughout the planning process, which meant we didn't have to worry about anything during the day; it flowed really smoothly and gave us a chance to relax and enjoy our day. The food was so delicious and such generous portions! The ballroom and golf course are both such a stunning backdrop for our wedding photos. Our hotel rooms the night before and night of the wedding were spacious, comfortable and clean, although a bit warm as our block didn't have air con - they did however have plenty of fans we could use! Quite a few of us had dinner at the restaurant the evening before, which we enjoyed, and the buffet breakfast was also tasty and had a good selection available.

We had our wedding here last month and we could not have picked a better venue with a more helpful events team. Lauren, Jules and the team were incredible from the 1st meeting right until after the wedding, they couldn't do enough for us. We needed a venue with plenty of rooms for guest to stay so this was perfect. We loved being driven down on to the golf course in the golf buggies for our professional photos too. We really can't thank this hotel and team enough for making our wedding the best day of our lives, it was perfect!

Our daughters' wedding. Can't thank wedding organiser Lauren enough for making the day so special for us all. Every detail was meticulously thought out. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The venue is the perfect place for a wedding. We have had nothing but positive responses. The venue rooms are spacious and perfect with an outside area too. Lovely decorations and lighting. Highly recommended.

The room I had was good and spacious and could way accommodate my bike. The wake up call phone didn’t work but the porter knocked which I thought was great. The receptionists were very helpful but the bar staff and restaurant not so. I’m lactose intolerant and was told the chef didn’t want to change things on the overpriced menu, the bar staff didn't look friendly. I was told there was a spa were I could relax for a short while after my race before the drive home, it turned out this wasn’t the case so I had to use the useless showers in the golf changing room. I’m glad it was only for one night. I wouldn’t start there again

A mixed review to be honest… Had to wait a long time for reception to check us in as no one was initially around and then had to wait for them to finish their discussion. The room was pleasant, no issues with the bed or room size. The bathroom was an issue though. No proper shower, just an extendable shower hose. The bath tub was broken so I was left with shin high water whilst showering! I did ask for it to be fixed on my first night, alas it was not. The shower temp is either scalding hot or cold, no in between. I was given a price reduction as a result, which was fair enough. The location is great, very central, and staff are accommodating to catering requests. Just a shame that the bathroom was such a mess. Certainly not at £180 a night hotel.
