Borough Arms Hotel

This is an excellent budged option, whether traveling for work or leisure. We stayed in the motel section (the annexe), and the facilities, housekeeping and staff were all great. The location is good: it's a 20-min walk to the hospital, roughly a 10-min walk to the Newcastle town centre, and a 2-min walk to the Jubilee2 leisure centre. It's not the quietest option, considering the busy roads all around the hotel. It is, however, very clean and housekeeping knocks on doors every morning - unless you put out a "do not disturb" door sign. We were also able to leave our luggage with the reception staff for the day once we checked out (11am) which was very kind.
