Definitely a 5 star experience. We were travelling early morning but we are based in Bristol. We decided not to arrive to our holidays and be extra tired so we travelled from the night before and had a great restful night prior to our morning flight. The rooms were extremely big and most importantly the bed was comfortable. Breakfast? Definitely great! We weren’t expecting that huge of a variety. We won’t need to eat anything on the plane and pay that premium price for it. Because of this hotel, if we find cheap flights from Gatwick in the future we won’t hesitate to book them and stay here the night before. Thank you Hilton Team!

When travelling with family and in need of a hotel at Gatwick the Hilton is our first choice. They have family friendly rooms which have 4 separate beds and of a good size to not feel too cramped. We thought having one bathroom might have been fun and games come the morning but they thought of that too as the bathroom had 2 separate showers at each end. There's an in room fridge, iron, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. We were also provided with 4 bottles of water. For how well used the rooms are they were still in a presentable condition. The location is convenient being connected to the terminals via a covered walk way - follow the clearly marked signs to get to the hotel. Checked in via the app and used the digital key which unlocks the door with your phone. Sadly the digital key did not work on the door to the corridor leading to the rooms but a quick stop at reception who also provided us with a traditional key solved that issue. There's a decent 24/7 gym if you are inclined to burn off some excess energy, a sports bar and a restaurant. Room service is also available but we opted to eat at the airport where they have a weatherspoons. It was a relaxing stay to start our holiday and we have no problems in recommending. I see a few people ask what may be the best rooms to get a 'view' but due to its location you won't be able to see the airfield from any room from what I can gather as it's set back from the terminal and is the same height as the multi storey car park which adjoins it. Some of the rooms overlook the internal lobby however.

We had a great stay, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we received a lovely upgrade. The hotel is very conveniently located, and there are a great variety of restaurants nearby including a good Indian restaurant a ten minute walk away. Would highly recommend for a quick stay. Only feedback for improvement would be that the executive lounge food offering is not as good as it used to be, rather than a buffet selection, it is now one small plate of canapés per person.

Could not have been easier access to get to this hotel from the train station. We stayed here 1 night, arriving by train, prior to an international flight out of Gatwick. The walk to the Hotel was 1-flight of stairs (or elevator) and maybe 300-400 total meters where then the entrance is sliding doors into the hotel (man made coverage essentially the whole way). The rooms were nice, staff was welcoming and friendly, ambiance was quiet, and the setting was adequate. We (my wife and I) ate dinner in the bar on the ground floor where the food was decent-sandwiches with fries- and I could watch the Ireland rugby game. What I was exceptionally impressed about was the breakfast we had included with our room. STUPENDOUS! There were many options and essentially everything was so tasty. I will go back and specifically pay for the breakfast because of the spread. Such a spread of options and higher-end fare seemed more akin to a much more expensive hotel. I'm usually quite frugal about my meals and this one was worth every penny, especially because it was buffet and I could gorge to my stomachs desire/expansion. I've usually not enjoyed British breakfast sausage and theirs was lovely and flavorful. Coffees, juices with varied-fresh-mixed flavors, cured meats/cheese, bread products, fruits, etc. Truly, impressive.

Like for most people, this was a convenient place to stay the night before an early morning flight. I completed digital check in but had to go to the desk to show my ID as it was the first time I’d used the service, which was fine. Check in was warm and friendly and I was allocated the adjacent room to the one I’d picked online as my first choice wasn’t available. Again, this was fine with me. The rooms have been entirely refurbished and are spacious and comfortable, if a bit bland. I have no idea why they chose to install double beds rather than king beds. The rooms are big enough to take them and these days king size is the regular standard I’d say. Food in the sports bar was fine, service was friendly and efficient. Overall there’s a lot to like about this property, it’s a five minute walk to the terminal, the standard rooms are spot on and the price seems fair at. NB One thing to note is I can’t tell the difference between a standard room and a deluxe room other than the cost difference. Deluxe room photos are identical to the standard room photos. Maybe standard face outwards and deluxe into the courtyards? My preference would be an exterior view to be honest!
