Event Spaces & Dining

Our five contemporary ground-floor suites — Lyttons, Byron, Park, Wentworth and Crabbet — are designed to be adaptable for any occasion. Lyttons and Byron can also be combined to create the larger Sussex Suite, ideal for bigger celebrations and conferences. All rooms benefit from natural light via skylights, ClickShare presentation technology and individual temperature control for guest comfort.

We offer a range of catering options, from informal buffets to elegant three-course dinners, accommodating events for up to 350 guests. Party packages are available for a minimum of 80 guests.

We've stayed here a few times for one night before flying from Gatwick. Price for a night's accommodation plus parking for the duration of your holiday is reasonable, especially so if you receive 20% or 25% discount emails from the hotel. The cost of a taxi to/from the airport is around £23 but this includes the extortionate rip-off £10 drop off/pick up fees Gatwick charges now. If you book your stay directly with the hotel, you get 10% off your food and drinks bill for dinner in their restaurant. Hotel is clean, tidy and modern. Rooms have comfy super-king beds and all the toiletries you'll need for an overnight stay. I can't comment on breakfast as had a super early flight. The staff we encountered at reception and in Meadow, were all a credit to the hotel. In my view, its the best airport hotel to stay in at Gatwick.

We spent a night here on 20th December and used the extended parking when we went to Lapland for 3 nights. The rooms were large and spotless, the staff were helpful and welcoming and the parking extensive - and on one level, not a multistorey - no height restrictions which was important for me as I have a taller vehicle. The taxi firm they use/ recommend was also excellent - prompt and reasonably priced, especially for Christmas Eve! Will definitely use this hotel again.

Very impressed with the service and the hotel. Would definitely recommend. Although a little further away from the other airport hotels, the have a fixed taxi fare rate for their customers. Reception can provide the number. Our experience was amazing. I would definitely stay again. They have a nice restersunt on site, also serving breakfast from 6am

I recently stayed here while on a course for work. I was very impressed with this hotel. Nice clean rooms. Good temperature control in them. Everything worked and was in good condition. The only issue I would say is the lack of plug sockets next to the bed. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good. Even with £30 to spend for a meal in the evening I got some great food. The rump of lamb was excellent. This is all properly prepared food and a great choice on the menu. This hotel is worth staying in if you are going to be flying from Gatwick. It would be a good start to a holiday.

Room was fine, reception very welcoming. The staff in the restaurant were friendly enough however, when I found a piece of rubber in my food, I was made to feel it couldn't have possibly been their fault it got there. We were offered a drink on the house; we didn't ask for anything, we just wanted some responsibility to be taken. When it came to paying the bill, we tried to pay with cash, were told it was card only, which was fine, however, the staff seemed to have a little inside joke about us trying to pay with cash. This left a bit of a sour taste.
