Great leisure centre for long course swimming competitions. Nice atmosphere and well organised, spectator area is big and the parking is free. The centre got lots of facilities: swimming pool, diving boards, climbing wall, gym, squash courts, gymnastics, athletics track, martial arts studio, cafe. The only thing that should be done better is the cleaning of the toilets when are big events in the centre. Staff is nice and polite.

Facilities at this venue are not pleasant. The cafe experience was particularly bad with bad communication between staff and confusion about where to pick up coffee or hot food from. The manager behind the counter looked hostile and unfriendly. The staff that brought out the hot food during breakfast time, dumped the food on a nearby table and appeared irritated that I didn’t know where to collect the food from. Glad I have packed lunch! Elsewhere the cleanliness is appalling. The venue is hosting 140 competitors plus staff, judges, parents and other spectators but the toilets simply haven’t been cleaned. Nor was the seating area for spectators. It had not even been swept. Dusty grunge is stuck to walls, food litter and toilet paper all over the floor. The sports facilities themselves are varied and enormous. This could be a fantastic venue, but it is being operated appallingly.

Members left in the dark regarding cancellation of classes and complete timetable revision. Parking is a regular disaster and showers are extremely poor and have very low pressure. Management seems happy to invite as many gala and special events as possible but ignore paying members as they are locked into a contract. This issue lies squarely with the management as the staff are often not informed until last minute about changes. Avoid at all costs and find a leisure centre/gym that actually cares
