Selected Dormy House based on expectations of small luxury experience to start our journey in the Cotswolds. I highly recommend The Attic Room. It’s very spacious and well appointed. The service exceeded our expectations even for a luxury hotel. The food and beverage experience was amazing. The Dormy House is a very special place.

We’ve just come back from the most incredible weekend at Dormy House Hotel & Spa and honestly… it was perfection from start to finish. My friend and I stayed on the House Hideaway Package, and it truly lived up to its name – the entire experience felt like stepping away from the world and into total calm. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The staff were so warm and attentive without ever being overbearing – you instantly feel looked after. The spa itself is just beautiful. Between the outdoor hydro pool, the thermal suite, and the relaxation areas, we completely switched off. Having our massages spaced through the day meant we could really soak up the experience rather than rush it – it felt like a full day of indulgence rather than just treatments. Our room was stunning – cosy, luxurious, and exactly what you want after a day in the spa. Every little detail had been thought about, which made it feel extra special. Dinner and drinks in the evening just topped it all off – relaxed, delicious, and the perfect end to such a pampering day. ✨ This wasn’t just a spa stay – it felt like a proper reset. ✨ Perfect for a girls’ getaway, special occasion, or just because you deserve it. We left feeling completely relaxed, recharged, and already planning our next visit. 10/10 – couldn’t recommend it more. 💛

We were staying at The Fish hotel (sister property) but we had a lovely Spa Day package morning / lunch afternoon and really enjoyed it. The massage was super relaxing, the amenities were amazing beforehand and the lunch after was incredible. Dare I say the best fish & chips I had on the trip! We'd definitely return.

The ONLY thing that let this hotel down was the lunch time snack and main course evening meal and waiter waitress service. I was not asked if I would like another glass of something all evening ! The main courses in the restaurant were not in any way excellent. The ploughman’s lunch snack in the bar was exceedingly poor. The waiting staff do not appear to be well trained in table service. The breakfasts are by comparison excellent as is the Spa. All reception and spa staff included in the excellence comment. I expected a better variation of main course cuisine than was presented.
