Bring your team together through extraordinary experiences at our extraordinary venue; Howgills House. Snuggled between the Lakes and Dales lays the luxury 12-bedroom Country House sleeping up to 20 of your team (we also have other properties nearby to accommodate larger groups). A short drive off junction 37 of the M6, only a 2-hour train commute from London or 90 minutes from Manchester, Leeds, and Liverpool.

The price to hire our House, reduces the more number of nights you book. One night is a minimum of £2000. A 2 night stay (based on 12 people) is £2400. Please note quotes are tailored to your group size.

Howgills House was voted in the top twenty celebration properties by the Sunday Times in July 2021 and this fantastic spot will leave you and your team feeling re-charged and inspired to create something great.

There's an onsite commercial kitchen if you fancy making cooking for the team part of the challenge. Or catering can be provided for you upon request. Howgills House work with partners who can deliver activities like duck herding, cocktail making, ghyll scrambling, or clay pigeon shooting, or if you’d rather you can organise activities yourself. The friendly staff will help you with as little or as much as you’d like to.

Please note we require a £1000 security bond for all reservations; however this is fully refundable should there be no breakages or damages during your stay.





Our nearby Barn (5 minutes by car) can be booked in conjunction with Howgills House to facilitate larger bookings of up to 40 guests. Howgills Barn has 8 en-suite bunk rooms and is set in 5 private acres of beautiful countryside; perfect for retreats and country pursuits.
