The Ballroom is a stunning event space that can accommodate 245 guest for your wedding breakfast wit additional space in the Park Suite for 140. This is the ideal backdrop for your celebrations, with fantastic views across the river and wonderful original features, including gothic style windows and statement staircase.

June 2025Our stay was excellent from beginning to end. Check in was straightforward, quick and easy. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was extremely good and we would especially mention how Anne's gluten and lactose dietary requirements were met with no difficulty. Johnson and Rudi went out of their way to provide excellent information and service. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

June 2025I had a really pleasant stay at Mercure Bradford, thanks to the excellent service from the team. Everyone I interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. A few team members went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable, especially when I arrived late and the restaurant was closed—they were still more than happy to accommodate me, which I truly appreciated. Compliments to the chef as well for being so accommodating and thoughtful. The care and effort from the whole team really made a difference during my stay.

June 2025The room was lovely and clean. The staff were very, friendly and attentive, nothing was to much for them, the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out they just couldn't do enough for us.The breakfast was really good and you had options. Definitely stay there again. Thank you all.

June 2025The hotel is very conveniently located, and has ample free parking. Whilst the hotel is slightly dated, it is clear that it is well taken care of - the only issue that I had was a lack of plug sockets within the room. The rooms are, though, spotlessly clean and well presented - I was particularly impressed to have been provided with a vanity kit and other sundry items by ‘default’ without having requested them. Overall a lovely stay, and I would most certainly return. I extend my especial thanks to Julie on reception, who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the check in process, particularly as I had a last-minute booking.

June 2025We had a really nice afternoon Tea. Sandwiches had plenty of filling, good choice. The warm scone was lovely and we had to take most of the cakes home as we were full. Very enjoyable. Compliments to the chef. Thank you.
