I have been coming to the Marriott Maida Vale for years. It has consistently good service, especially the front desk team are very helpful and supportive. They went beyond their ways with a luggage problem I had with an airline. Thank you! The rooms are clean and have all the things you would need. I regard the location (not right in the centre of London) as a key advantage. You have direct links with tube and bus connections, and the Maida Vale, Little Venice neighbourhoods are lovely. Prices are fair and I hope to be back soon. Keep up the good work!

Small actions make a lasting impact. Had a late night out which resulted in us sleeping well past checkout time. Lucy and Silvia were the nicest about it, accommodating us to go get coffee and not be rushed out the door. The room was perfect and had everything we needed. The service at this hotel is bar none. Will recommend to everyone. Perfectly located within two blocks of the bakerloo and only 7 stops from central London. Close enough to the fun, far enough to enjoy a peaceful sleep.

Nice enough rooms, all the essentials. My biggest gripe is with the parking situation. They have an underground car park beneath the hotel. The hotel charges £40 a night to park there as a hotel guest. BUT if you book parking in THEIR car park with ‘Just Park’ - accessible to anyone, not just guests, it costs c.£25 a night…it makes no sense.

If you are experienced Marriott traveler used to a certain Marriott standard you will be disappointed with this venue. Reception service is moderate at best. While checking-out there was no inquiring about the stay (they likely know it’s not a whole lot positive feedback typically). Property does NOT have gym and pool unlike advertised. You have to walk outside and around the other corner to visit community gym (where you get free entrance with Marriott card). Food in the restaurant has little selection, and drink menu (as well as bartender’s skills) are very basic. Rooms are small, dark, not well ventilated. Common areas have odor given how old and due maintenance property is. I’m Titanium Elite and have stayed in a lot, and I mean a lot Marriott properties around the world. This must be worse (after Las Vegas and Barbados) I stayed in. Given area is also pretty quiet with little to offer in terms of food and/or drinks, and sightseeing, there is really no reason for you to stay there. Why did I stay there? Because intern booking stay made a mistake :)

Really sad to say that after staying here on multiple occasions each year, that having caught a member of staff entering my room with the DND sign on the door, and after complaining that staff had entered my room on a previous day, that when items and cash went missing from the room…. Items that belong to our child… That they ‘investigated’ for months only to come back and state that their policy was that I should contact the police. A delay tactic that led to us not being able to recover anything even while our Apple locations are showing there. Being a family that lived in Marriott residences and have held Bonvoy higher memberships for years I have to say we won’t stay here again as we don’t feel safe. Very sad. Very disappointing.
