I stayed overnight in an executive room which was really nice - very spacious and well equipped with mini fridge and a coffee maker. It also had a view of the city as it is very central. The bathroom was very large with a separate bath and a walk in shower. The large bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style. There was plenty of choice and the food was good.

Had a lovely few nights here. Hotel is situated in perfect location in Liverpool City centre. Walking distance to all attractions. Food was lovely in hotel (had dinner and breakfasts here). Very reasonably priced. Staff helpful and friendly. Had room on floor 10 with excellent view of city and Albert Dock. Comfortable beds in room which was also equipped with TV, bath/shower, fridge and safe. Only negative is that the room was very warm at lowest temperature setting. Overall experience was excellent, would definitely recommend.

First impressions count. In this case they were just what we needed. We arrived late and were helped through the check-in process by the two guys on reception. Then the car park. A little guidance made that easy too. Room was fine, Breakfast was all that we needed and available when we arrived - eventually!

We had a comfortable stay at the Novotel. All staff were lovely but there simply weren't enough of them. We waited at the bar one evening for 10 minutes but no one came to serve us so after looking around for someone we left. The pool and gym facilities are very good and very clean but they were overbooked or people weren't sticking to timeslots or just turning up without booking, this could do with being policed a bit better. The room was light and spacious but the air con did not work so we had to leave the window open which led to us being woken up at 6am to bins being emptied outside. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice and well cooked food and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We would definitely stay again as the location is just great but a few little improvements wouldn't go a miss.

Had a great stay in Liverpool, on a family weekend, visiting museums and theatre shows. Great location for all central attractions. Only downside to our stay was that the room was positioned above the busy street - it was expected that being so central, there would be some noise in the late hours of a weekend, but it sounded as if our window was open all night, with a party outside of it (it wasn’t - it was triple checked!). I’d recommend asking for a room away from the street, if you have children or value your sleep (we were in rm 420).
