About Venue

Thistle London Heathrow T5 is one of the few hotels located near to the country’s premier international airport. As the closest off-site hotel to Terminal 5, and less than two miles to Terminals 2 & 3, the hotel is perfectly located for access to and from the airport.

Because we’re close to central London – the Heathrow Express travels from the airport to London Paddington in just 15 minutes – we are a perfect venue for business travellers, event organisers and tourists alike. We’re also just miles from the historic attractions of Windsor Castle and Ascot Racecourse, perfect whether you’re a fan of the Royal Family or the Sport of Kings.

If you’re arriving by car, we have on-site parking for 450 cars, and overnight parking is available from just £12.00 per night subject to availability when reserved with accommodation.

One of our smaller suites the Correspondents suite seats up to 50 people theatre-style. Located on the first floor it is ideal for training sessions, team briefings and executive board meetings.
The suite can also perfectly be used as a catering area for our Perimeter Suite.

It was exactly what I expected. A small room good for a short stay. The POD was my FAVORITE. Room was clean, check in was easy. We had a problem with our 1st rooms toilet clogging. Staff remedied the situation quickly and with a smile. The Aviator bar was fun to watch football. Staff was amazing. I was surprised not to hear the aircraft landing at Heathrow literally next door.

Superb place for an overnight stop if up and away the following day from Terminal 5. We left our car with them for the duration and the holiday as it was the cheapest option including the room for the night. Good restaurant, good bar, balcony to watch planes take off. Rooms quiet, comfy bed. Will deffo stay here again on our next adventure from Terminal 5

First class experience. Caught the pod from terminal 5 to the hotel. Very clearly signposted. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Explained meal times etc and genuinely had pride in their job. Room itself was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Only slightly negative was no usb charger points. (That I could see). Overall, a solid choice for your holiday.

I stayed at the Thistle Hotel for 1 night before an early morning flight from Terminal 5. I'd stayed at another chain hotel on the Bath Road a couple of times before but decided to stay at this hotel so that I could use the pod transport system to get to the terminal rather than wait for a bus. The hotel is fine and my room was comfortable. Check in and out was easy and the staff were friendly and efficient. I didn't use the hotel restaurant or have breakfast. I paid for the pod transport at the hotel reception in the morning and it's a short walk from the hotel. I'm not sure that the pod would generally be worth using over the bus given the additional cost, but for an early start it was quick and easy to use with only a short wait for an available pod.

Use the correct postcode as tricky to get to hotel. Once there carpark good. Reception very helpful and courteous. Room clean and good facilities. Drinks pricing high. Evening meal was good and great staff. Pod to Terminal doesn't open until 4am so got a free lift from carpark bus On return used pod which was great but quite a walk to find it. Would use again.
