Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel, Eliot

Truly enjoying my stay at the Fitzroy! The building is pristine and the entire staff has been fully attentive. Their restaurant, Fitz, is superb as well. My only gripe is my room. I should have done more research but it’s a bit on the small side. I am 6ft tall but I feel like a giant in here. My bed is a twin and my head is just an inch away from the shower head. Again, this is due to my poor research. I’d definitely stay here again—I’ll just opt for a larger room.

Well this was a short booking for a short stay and not a normal place I would want to stay at. That being said, it was really well established and a great place to live. The rooms are very clean and well equipped (though it's a little strange that the sink is outside the toilet). Another unusual thing was that the room was completely controlled by a tablet (high tech) and had a great connection to Netflix etc via QR code screen sharing

A beautiful hotel! My husband loves to tell the story of our arrival at Russell Square in a black cab. As we approached, I looked up and remarked, “What a magnificent building!” To our amazement, it turned out to be our hotel! The rooms and lobby are gorgeous, and the service is exceptional. The concierge was incredibly helpful, recommending a nearby restaurant for our last-minute plans. Fabulous location, and the valets were very attentive. We can’t wait to return!
