About Venue

A top Shoreditch bar and club with regular live music and DJ acts from cutting edge labels. The ground floor showcases an intricate blend of window etchings, graffiti, ivy and a landscape of benches, with a large bar that is happy to serve up tasty cocktails, thirst-quenching lagers and ales on tap and a selection of wines. Hip Shoreditch kids lounge on the big sofas and groups of friends enjoy the buzzy atmosphere with fun to be had in the games room with pinball and table football.

The Queen's alter ego appears in the basement bar, dark and a little twisted; a youth club for the adults of the east side with lazers, smoke and a booming Funktion One sound system. This fantastic London club space hosts top DJs Thursday to Saturday where you can get your sweaty London rave fix. The venue also boasts a top rooftop bar with a garden, kitchen and BBQ for those who love alfresco drinks with stunning views of London. This winter, Lady Celeste will be taking over our rooftop. Leave the glum, grey streets of London at the door and ascend to an incredible evening of Parisian-inspired decadence this Christmas, courtesy of Lady Celeste. Begin your evening with bubbles and canapes before being entertained by an incredible Moulin Rouge style cabaret performance. For those of you who choose to wander outside; take a seat by the fire pits and marvel at the twinkling night sky whilst sharing a traditional Absinthe-style fountain with your comrades.

Our rooftop terrace is now a celebrated and integral part of the Shoreditch skyline, and its twice-yearly transformations are eagerly anticipated by Londoners who want to snuggle up with us in the winter or lounge in the urban heat during summer.

January – November Bookings If a booking is cancelled (by registered post or email only) • 2 months in advance of the Access Time, we will refund 90% of the deposit. • More than 1 month in advance of the Access Time, but less than 2 months, any deposit paid will not be refunded. • Less than 1 month in advance up until the Access Time, any deposit paid will not be refunded and we will issue an invoice for immediate payment of the contracted balance. Visited Queen of Hoxton for drag cabaret which was superb! Special mention to the awesome gent on the door who helped us get a decent table, as my Mum (who has some mobility issues), we so appreciated this! REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR ID EVEN IF YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY OVER 18 as I had to do a mad dash across London to our hotel room to grab ours when I didn't read the small print!

It's like a TARDIS when you walk inside and the rooftop bar is truly stunning. The basement club is a decent enough size if you like a genuinely intimate but not claustrophobic experience with basic seating near the stage and adequate sound system and lighting. Staff seem cheerful and friendly.

Visited to try the new Christmas cocktails in the seasonal yurt and loved every minute! The firepits and fairy lights make the yurt so warm and cosy, perfect for a casual Christmassy date night. The biscotti sour and snowjito were our favourites. @nottinghillfoodie_
