Boom Battle Bar Swindon, The Beer Hall

Had a great night it was very quiet as we went in the week but atmosphere was still good . music was good ,creating a fun club vibe with funky lights and the staff were lovely and helpfull . Great for a date night as lots to do and nice drinks selections. Id say if you want more of an atmosphere go at weekend as we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves ..however this could work well for some people as it was more relaxed no rushing or pressure from others as we wasn’t clock watching .

We had a date night at Boom Battle Bar. It was a little disappointing. The staff were friendly and polite but they were not interested in making the place an experience. We were shown the axe throwing and enjoyed this a lot but it was only two lanes so quite isolated. we then did the crazy golf. We were told it was self explanatory and we should be fine. We were then left alone. It was fairly simple but it felt weird playing in a night club vibe. We then came across two faulty holes so a 9 hole game became a 7 hole game which we completed in less than 20mins. There were a few different games that seemed to be very popular like the electric darts. The space was big but the side machines were also out of order. The seating looked like a food court but was empty and staff had a football match playing on the big screen. It felt like a club vibe but it didn't have the energy and the door staff seemed unnecessary. It is a good place for groups. I think you need to bring the energy with you to really get the best out of the experience.

Went and did axe throwing with 3 others. We had absolutely no safety briefing at all, the girl hosting us had absolutely no idea about any of the rules of the game and openly said ‘I have no idea the safety briefing to be honest’ which is not what you expect when throwing massive axes! They didn’t know what the policy was for drinking during the game, that changed twice during the game and was told we couldn’t drink anything during the game not even water… I’ve been to the same place in Bath and this is shocking compared to it, drink options were awful as well, absolutely won’t be going back
