I have visited here previously as a guest at the spa on two separate occasions. This time we stayed in the hotel itself. We booked a room for 4 people which to our surprise was two double beds. Not an issue but only 2 cups, 2 glasses and 2 of everything else. This was frustrating as it felt like we wasn't accommodated for considering it cost £100 each and that was for 1 night, not including breakfast! We was allowed access to the spa facilities but you had to book a time slot of 1 hour and the jacuzzi wasn't working. We purposely booked this hotel so we could use this facility and to have an hour felt like we had to rush and time watch. Was so disappointed. Waited in the bar for over 40minutes before being served, after trying to get one of the severs attention we gave up and went up to the bar ourselves, only to be told it was seated service only. We informed them that we knew that but obviously nobody had been over to us! This was whilst masks was mandatory inside also and the guy walking around in a suit (think he was the manager of the bar possibly?) Walked around with it on his chin majority of the time and completely ignored us trying to get his attention to be served also. However the accomodation was very clean and comfortable, just a shame the other experiences made it feel less worthy of a 4 or 5 star. We wish we had booked elsewhere.GOOGLE REVIEW

Enjoyed our stay, was a little disappointed with the view as we'd upgraded to a water front room - which technically it was, but with a huge building in front too! Wouldn't pay the extra for this next time. Comfy, clean room, bathroom a little dated. Great selection at breakfast and food was well cooked. It's a shame that the plates they use are very small, more like a child's plate and many guests were grumbling about this. Pool area could do with an update, could be made so much nicer. The evening bar was pricey - it cost us £16 for 2 drinks.GOOGLE REVIEW

Based on price and what I would expect for £200 per night. This hotel has a nice entrance lobby and downstairs area. However the rooms are very basic. Near enough same if less than a premier Inn. Only book when it's on a cheaper deal or you may be dissatisfied. Staff were all very nice on the doors and reception.GOOGLE REVIEW

Fantastic staff, super helpful and attentive. Lovely big clean rooms. Spa and swimming pool. Hotel perfectly placed on the waterfront and plenty of parking! Now my favourite place to stay in LiverpoolGOOGLE REVIEW

Came for a weekend away and stayed here for the first time. Will definitely return next time we're in the city. Very nice hotel, good breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. Well situated and close to everywhere we wanted to visit. Good sized bedroom in immaculate condition. The bed and quilt is probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in.GOOGLE REVIEW
