Unity Hall and Business Space is a beautiful listed building, showcasing two halls, the Major Hall and the Minor Hall, available for private hire for various events such as weddings, birthdays, parties, christenings etc. The venue holds Gala Dinners, Charity Events, Festivals and Themed Nights. With five different sized Conference Rooms, over twenty Offices on site and a Boardroom, the venue is also perfect for all business needs.
The Major Hall has been home to various events such as Weddings, Birthdays, the Wakefield Beer Festival, Gala Dinners, Charity Events and even transmission of BBC's Question Time.
With it's own private bar, balcony, fully equipped stage, lighting, and tables (if required).

October 2018Great venue, much bigger than you usually get. There's a number of rooms including a massive dance floor in the main hall. Been to a number of great dance events there... Perfect location and amenities

January 2020Beautiful building. Capa college is currently based here and it is fantastic what they have to offer 16-19 year old. Staff were so welcoming and lovely and pupils here were clearly excited to be there doing what they love best.

The listed building is home to various high-profile events in Wakefield. Formally Unity Works now renamed, Unity Hall and Business Space Limited, is headed up by entrepreneur Rob Green. The company is looking to guarantee the future for the 23 businesses currently operating out of the Westgate venue and attract more conferences to the location which was renovated to reflect its 19th century heritage in 2013. Unity House wins because there is nowhere quite like it in the city, It offers banqueting, conference, live events and hospitality as well as office space to numerous business.
