Amazing service, delicious food/ cocktails, amazing and romantic atmosphere we got to play our own music in the pod, me and my partner had our valentines package and it was 10/10 I definitely recommend this place. The staff was amazing really polite and helpful. We will be come back!

Spend the night here as a gift from our son. Was a lovely stay with just afew niggles. The double bed isn't actually a double bed. It's 2 singles linked together but you can really feel the parting. Clean and tidy. Need to clean the light shades though as dead flies in most Lip stick marks on the mug in the room and a cigarette burn on the bed runner. Breakfast was a whole new story. Buffet style but nothing ready together. By the time I sat down to eat my cooked breakfast was cold. Had to wait for half the food to be cooked and the chef just keep saying oh well can only do what we can . Not very professional. There was a table with a large group of people and their young children were left to run riot. The management staff and waiting staff did not say a thing even though people were having to dodge them whilst getting their own breakfast. Yet the evening meal was very nice and the staff very attentive. Biy expensive for the drinks in the bar. Would stay again though . The grounds are lovely.

I stayed in a small room and then a family room a couple days later. The rooms were lovely, clean, quiet and beds were comfy and rooms decorated nicely. I also had access to other rooms as family stayed for an event. The shower leaked over the floor (family room) as the door wasn't sealed properly (had also been told the same by another guest who stayed in a family room) also the toilet also creaked far too much for comfort when sitting down. In the smaller room the bathroom handle almost came off on the inside and the overflow on the bath seemed quite loose. When visiting family in the much larger rooms I found some door handles were also loose as was a light fixture on the wall. On more positive notes the young lady at reception who dealt with us all was lovely. Really helpful and pleasant. I attended a wedding which came together nicely, the meal at the wedding was good. The buffet type food later on in the day could of done with some labelling mainly the sandwiches so you knew what you were eating instead of people picking them up to find out. I had asked for a normal plain ham sandwich for my children and was told it would cost 15pound. When it came it did include chips also but the cost was a little high. Lastly I went to the bar to ask for a bottle of water and was told to go to the other bar as none were available. When I went to the other bar it had closed up and when asking reception they basically said there's nothing they can do, even a vending machine could of been a help. My only option would of been to take a small paper cup from the water dispenser by the function rooms all the way to the other side of the hotel where I stayed. The location is in a very quiet area so the stay was quite peaceful. The room also had a clear type of blind on the window where the sun didn't come through harshly which was lovely in the morning.

The hotel on the outside looks lovely with a really nice wow factor. The room at first glance was the same. That’s when it stops. The bathroom was dirty and needs a good ‘Spring clean’ the hot water was extremely hot to the point in burnt my wife’s hand. (Requires signage and / or TMVs fitted). The gluten free options at breakfast need to be clear and the gluten free bread needs to be away from other bread considering it was removed from the packaging the cross contamination risk is massive. It’s not a bad hotel, bar was clean staff friendly. Just needs certain areas deep cleaned, refurbished, maintenance etc but it’s not the worst I’ve been by far. The biggest issues were around the gluten free vs cross contamination risk. The cleanliness is neither here or there.

The food it’s nice but for the kids it’s a lot and they allow to bring take away into the room but no place to warmer up food should have microwave on the room or the restaurant allowed us use the microwave but they refuse to warming up and the food it’s was from they own restaurant we need to eat our food very cold because they refuse to warm up on the hotel so we need buy other dinner again and they dinners is very expensive NOT HAPPY ON THE LAST DAY the 2guys on the afternoon 3pm was very not helpful at all because they feel lazy to go on the kitchen to warm up the food and come with policies rules with no sense if I want to warmer up my food and eat it this will be my responsibility not will be a restaurant flat at all
