Ideal location. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was nice. The best bit were the lovely staff. Very attentive even calling the room to check if we needed more towels room service was very quick. The pizzas we ordered were a very reasonable price for a very tasty pizza! I’ve been to many leonardo hotels and I have to say the service at this one had to be the best. Even the views were great!

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at during my business trips. The staff are professional and very helpful. The breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. The rooms are serviced daily and always kept clean. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Great from start to finish. The glass of prosecco at check-in was a nice touch. We had access to the lounge with complimentary snacks, drinks, wine, coffee, tea, pastries which provided a nice respite before heading out or after returning from sightseeing. The staff were extremely friendly and could not fo enough for you. Breakfast was very good lots of choice... The room was spacious and clean! I'd definitely stay here again.

I really wanted to love my stay because the location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful and the check in started off strong. However I had 3 major problems. My room was not cleaned even once during the 3 nights I stayed and even calling the front desk and asking them twice to take care of it, still wasn't done. The bathroom shower leaked profusely to the point where i had to use towels yo stop the flooding after every shower. Lastly. The service at the restaurant was quite slow even when there were few people. I feel like I would stay again but I'd avoid that room, ensure my room is cleaned because it was a lovely hotel nonetheless

Despite being in a nice area with beautiful views of St. Paul’s Cathedral and close proximity to the Millennium Bridge, my stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel was a complete letdown. The multiple issues with the staff and the run-down facilities made this trip completely annoying. I am giving it 1 star, and even that feels generous. Here is a breakdown of why you should look elsewhere: Appalling Customer Service & Staff Issues The Room Key Hostage Situation: I was locked out of my room and went to the front desk for a replacement key. Instead of helping me, they harassed me over a $200 Executive Lounge charge that they had forgotten to process earlier. Even though my card was on file and this easily could have been resolved at checkout, they refused to give me a room key until I paid it right then and there. They cared more about getting their money instantly than assisting a locked-out guest. Stingy Amenities: On our last day, my room wasn't cleaned. I went to the front desk to ask for four bottles of water. The staff interrogated me, asking, "How many beds do you have?" and refused to give me more than two bottles simply because we only had one bed. Unresponsive Front Desk: Our room was supplied with a filthy robe. I called down to the front desk four times with no answer, forcing me to walk down in person just to get it resolved. Rude Staff: The bartender at Leo restaurant was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Inconsistent Check-in: They were strictly enforcing a 3:00 PM check-in for me, yet I watched plenty of other guests get their rooms well before I did. Room & Maintenance Problems Broken Amenities: Two of the four main elevators in the front of the building were out of service. Additionally, the mini-fridge in our room was broken. I reported it to the front desk, but it was never fixed during our stay. Uncomfortable Sleep: The beds were very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's rest. Noisy Mornings: Every single morning around 7:00 AM, the cleaning staff would stand outside our room and argue loudly, completely ignoring the "Do Not Disturb" tag on our door. The "Not-So-Executive" Lounge Gross Conditions: There were tons of fruit flies in the lounge. I literally had to inspect my drinks before taking a sip. Sparse Food & Broken Machines: The coffee machine was broken multiple times during my stay. I was also told I "missed" the morning bagels and pastries at exactly 10:22 AM. Snacks throughout the day were only restocked once an hour, so you were usually met with empty plates when walking in. Overcrowded Pool Area The pool area was far from relaxing. It was constantly packed, with 8 to 10 people—including small children—crowding the hot tub, sauna, and steam room at any given time. The Bottom Line: Do not let the view of St. Paul's fool you. The terrible service, poor management, and run-down aspects of this hotel will absolutely ruin your stay. Look elsewhere.
