Visited the Kings Head on a number of occasions over the past two years, the ambiance is pleasant and the service good but was a little disappointed with my last visit. The menu doesn’t seem to have changed much in the past two years but if you’re on to a winner why change it. Personally speaking I’d like some different options to choose from on the main menu. The food I’d say is above average for typical pub grub, on this occasion I ordered a prawn cocktail starter which I expected to be no ordinary prawn cocktail for £8 but unfortunately it was an ordinary prawn cocktail, silly me. The £15 roast pork was tasty, what there was of it, the few potatoes were fine but the accompanying veg bland. My son had a perfectly fine burger with a small amount of chips which didn’t justify the £15 price tag. All in all a lovely put with decent food but overpriced. If the clientele are happy to pay and come back for more, good luck to them.

Excellent diner tonight! The pie was incredible and the truffle mash even better! Service was attentive and friendly too. Highly recommend this place, I can’t believe that as a local I had never stopped to eat there sooner…

Following a disappointing meal and review last month, we decided to give The King's Head another go, as it is one of our favourite places to eat in Teddington and I'm very happy to say that we had the complete opposite experience. We went there for the Sunday Roast and it was delicious, clean plates all round! The portion sizes were more than enough for us, but free refills on the extra's is a nice touch, if you're still hungry. We sat outside in the courtyard garden, in a lovely shaded spot, which was very relaxed, perfect for a Sunday. Thank you to Danny for reaching out and restoring our faith in The King's Head and thank you to our server Kate, who was lovely, attentive and efficient throughout.

Definitely not just pub grub... fantastic food... the coleslaw with my halloumi burger was like no coleslaw I've had before... and the sticky toffee pudding was incredible. And a lovely waiter too 😊
